Jasper County uses Reverse 9-11 for the first time.
A Webb City woman with a brain injury went missing and that's when authorities contacted Jasper County 9-11 and asked if the system was ready to go.
Rich Nordell is Executive Director of Jasper County 9-11 ---- he says after activation they noticed a glitch.
The whole process would have used nearly 2000 phone lines and taken seconds. Nordell said they fixed the problem and he's glad it happened now and not during a tornado or chemical spill.
The missing woman came home on her own and she is safe.
