Northeastern Oklahoma A&M is awarded a $172,000 grant for its on-campus Adult Learning Center.
The center will offer free programs for adult education and literacy.
The number of northeast Oklahoma residents who are not high school graduates is staggering. 23% of residents in Craig County and 24% of residents in Ottawa and Delaware County do not have diplomas.
