About 20 people showing up at a vigil for Michael Jackson last night in Joplin's Spiva Park.
Organizer Beverly White said Jackson's life and music touched the lives of so many and she wanted to honor him in a public way. They sang several songs, including "We Are The World" during the balloon release at the end of the vigil.
A public memorial service has been set for Tuesday morning in LA.
