Neosho will get $3 million in federal stimulus dollars to update it's sewer and water system.
The city was originally supposed to get just about $595,000, but the Department of Natural Resources told City Manager Jan Blase that they'll actually be getting much more. Blase says this means they'll be able to do more improvements than they'd initially planned on.
The city is still going to be asking voters to approve a $9.5 million dollar loan in August to make all the improvements to the water system.
