A Baxter Springs man is in serious condition after he lost control of his motorcycle on Missouri Highway 66, about 2 miles west of Joplin, around 6:15 Thursday night.
26-year-old Christopher Collingworth was speeding around a curve and ran off the right side of the road, falling into the deep ditch on the side, where his motorcycle flipped several times.
He's in serious condition at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
