The latest Democratic push for cap-and-trade passes the US House last week, but only by a thin majority, just 219-212.
One of those voting against the bill was Congressman Roy Blunt of southwest Missouri. He tells a crowd in Neosho that he can\'t condone a bill that would raise your energy bills by 80% in 10 years.
The bill is not expected to pass the Senate, despite a fillibuster-proof Democrat majority.
